This weekend was absolutely wonderful. On Friday, about 15 women from our church headed to Shreveport for Women of Faith. We had lunch at Chili's and then went to our hotel. The hotel changed and ended at a totally different hotel. We went to the CenturyTel Center for the 1st night of Women of Faith. Steven Curtis Chapman sang. He spoke of his little girl that he recently lost. It was so amazing. The next day Lisa Welchel, Patsy Clairmont, and Sheila Walsh. It has been a while since I cried and laughed so much.
Larry had Aiden while I was gone. Can you believe that Aiden walked all the way across the room while I was gone. Before I left, he was walking a little here and there. Larry texted me a video of him walling across the room. I can't believe I was gone to see this. Of course, hearing this made me miss him even more. We came home Saturday evening. I was so ready to get home. I had a wonderful time with all the "girls". This was our 4th Women of Faith trip. It is so worth it. God works in so many ways.

Aiden is walking more and more. He is growing up so fast. He will be off running soon. I really enjoy watching him. I love watching him when music comes on. He is such a musical baby. He loves to dance to music. He has always been a musical baby. When he came home from the hospital, my sister would watch American Idol and he would sleep when someone could sing good but if someone came on who could not sing, he would cry until they stopped. He is really a good baby. He loves to eat and eat. Larry has been gone to Baton Rouge and will be getting back around 2 am. He misses his baby. He misses all of us but the baby just depends on us so much. Jeremy is finally having his 9th bday party this weekend. He is so excited. While the sun was shining, I wanted to leave work so I could come home and do spring cleaning. What a beautiful couple of days we have had lately.

Aiden took some steps.

Aiden took his first steps the other day. He was in the nursery with his YeYe. She told me he walked to his friend Annie. It has not happened since I have not seen him. Here is a picture of his last pictures that I took. He is so photogenic. He has such a great personality. I enjoy him so much. I enjoy Christian and Jeremy too. They just do their own thing. I am off today because of the stomach bug. I feel better. Larry is gone to youth retreat. I was suppose to go but then got sick. We had a powerful youth service Sunday night. It is wonderful seeing all these teenagers letting God in their life. Jeremy went to his plastic surgeon(sees every couple of years for his skin graft on his head.) Dr. Mickel had talked about removing his skin graft in the past. When we went yesterday, Dr. Mickel said he would not have another surgery. Jeremy was a little disappointed. He wants so bad to be normal like every other child. I remined him that God does not make mistakes and God made him the way he is for a special reason. I also reminded him that we all have something that we don't like about ourselves. It is so hard when your child hurts because people make fun of him. As a mother, we want to protect them from everything. Jeremy turns 9 on Monday. He is so excited.
