October 2009
It has a very busy couple of months, nothing new to me. We have been busy with church, family time, and of course, facebook. The boys have started school and are doing good. Christian is so little to be in middle school. He is in the band and is enjoying it. He is learning the trumpet. He says he is the best in the class. He has grown so much. I saw the first trailor to Toy Story 3 the other day. It was both exciting and depressing. Toy Story first came out when Christian was little. He loved Buzz Lightyear. My family would argue and say that it was me that liked Buzz. He had Buzz Lightyear everything. Anyway, the trailor begins with Andy being older and leaving the toys behind. This reminds me that my oldest is growing up. Jeremy is doing great in school too. He loves playing basketball. He also loves church. He has such a sweet spirit for God. This is amazing because he is my most difficult child. Aiden is growing so much. He will be 2 in January. His personality is a mixture of Christian, Jeremy, and his own. He is such a blessing. He bows his head to pray before we eat. He does not miss anything. Christian reads a book in the under a blanket so Aiden won't want his book. I am trying to lose weight. I have lost 14 pounds so far. I am walking at least 2x week. Jeremy will go walking with me if I am not on my treadmill. Larry is busy with youth stuff and school. He enrolled in Warner University taking online courses to get his bachelors in ministry. He is taking 3 courses a semester. I am so proud of him. My recent agenda is trying to find Christmas presents for the boys. Jeremy is getting a guitar. Christian and Aiden has not been deteremined yet.

June 2009
Again June has been a busy month. Of course it is summer which is our biggest time with my husband is a youth pastor. I always joke about him having "the life", only working a couple months out of the year-yeah right. Work has been crazy. I love it but it gets hectic around this time of the year. Aiden is growing in leaps and bounds. He is talking so much. If you listen, closely you can pick up what he is saying. He loves to read books. We have had church picnics and weddings in June. We took the youth to Branson, Mo. Last week I thought the further north you go it should get cooler. Wrong. We brought the hot weather with us. I bet they were glad to see us go. We had 21 youth- 11 adults, 6 kids, and 2 babies. We had one couselor get food poisoned on our way up there. She was sick for a day. One youth was sick from Thurs until we got back on Saturday. I hope Jade starts feeling better. We went to Silver Dollar City. It was good just hot. We went to the boardwalk. We went to the Titanic exhibit. That was interesting. We had devotion every night with the youth band doing praise and worship. They have gotten so good. I am really proud of them. Aiden wanted to beat on the drums too (Seth, one day he will take your job). God is really moving with our youth. I am proud of each and every one of them. Christian and Jeremy had a blast. I didn't see them much. They didn't want to be around their mother. The way back was interesting with Aiden in the back screaming because he was tired of the car and the many "potty breaks" ( our last one being in Sterlington). We were so ready to get home. After church on Sunday, I took a 2 hour nap. That never happens. My family will be gone for camp from Thurs -Tues of july 4. It will just be me and Aiden. I plan on working from home during a couple of those days. That ought to be interesting with Aiden. Saturday, my father in law and my boys are going to get my neice for camp. I am going to enjoy spoiling her.

May
May has been a busy month...actually I don't think we ever slow down. We had alot of youth activities in May...graduations, awards etc. We have been doing alot of fundraisers for the youth. 3 car washes, 1 garage sale. We are going to Branson, Mo. June 17-20. I have not had a weekend to relax yet. Work is crazy mad. Aiden is growing in leaps and bounds. My baby has become the bully in the nursery at church. He hits on all the kids...he still is the smallest. He loves to point at his mouth, eyes, ears, and especially his nose. I have really enjoyed watching each stage he goes through. Jeremy is excited school is out. He got his hair cut really short. I was surprised he wanted it that short. Christian starts 6th grade at Calhoun Middle School in August. Yes I said middle school. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. He is just my baby.

April- What a month
April has been a busy month. The first part was, of course, Easter. We had a good Easter, even though it rained and poured. Aiden had to stay home from church because he was sick. He had a viral infection (hopefully, he is finally getting over it). He got a monkey Easter basket with peeps, pacis, and leap frog refrigerator toys. The boys got a game and candy. Jeremy was gone the whole spring break. He went with his friend, Hunter to camp at Caney Lake. He was so excited and had a wonderful day. He loves the outdoors and that was perfect for him. Thank you Campbells for inviting and taking him. I missed him so much while he was gone. It is amazing how much you miss your "troublemaker". Larry and I had our 10th anniversary on April 10th. It was a wonderful day. It was Good Friday so we spent the first part of the day shopping for Easter. Then we went to Outback, Maggie Moos, and of course, Walmart. It is amazing how your lives change. I love him more today than when we exchanged vows. He is a wonderful husband and father. He still makes me laugh (don't tell him that though). His love for Christ shines throughout his face. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with him. Side note: Love Dare book is excellent. We are doing it in Sunday School. It is not always easy. Now it is the end of the month. It is starting to be our busiest time of the year with our youth (we never slow down much). We had our 1st car wash today. We had a great turn out. I look like a lobster on my arms and legs. I am so tired. We are taking our youth to Branson in June. We have 2 more car washes and garage sale. Pray that we will exceed our goal so that we can give our youth lasting memories. Well, it has been a busy day much less a busy month. Aiden is finally walking very well and has 5 teeth coming in.

Busy Weekend
Aiden had his 1st real Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. He was so funny. He wanted to sit down more than put the eggs in his bucket. Christian helped him more than anything. He is such a good brother. He has been teething this weekend. He has been teething since he was wee little, but still no teeth. His teeth are starting to pop in. They are all coming in at the same time. Poor baby. On Sunday, we took the youth to Bossier City for the Rock and Worship Road Show. It was awesome. Meanwhile, back at home, our church had a communion and footwashing ceremony. We hated to miss it. It is such a humbling experience. Aiden even got in on the action. It is so fun to watch him. I went back to work today thinking where does my weekends go. I thought weekends were for rest.

What a Wonderful Weekend
This weekend was absolutely wonderful. On Friday, about 15 women from our church headed to Shreveport for Women of Faith. We had lunch at Chili's and then went to our hotel. The hotel changed and ended at a totally different hotel. We went to the CenturyTel Center for the 1st night of Women of Faith. Steven Curtis Chapman sang. He spoke of his little girl that he recently lost. It was so amazing. The next day Lisa Welchel, Patsy Clairmont, and Sheila Walsh. It has been a while since I cried and laughed so much.
Larry had Aiden while I was gone. Can you believe that Aiden walked all the way across the room while I was gone. Before I left, he was walking a little here and there. Larry texted me a video of him walling across the room. I can't believe I was gone to see this. Of course, hearing this made me miss him even more. We came home Saturday evening. I was so ready to get home. I had a wonderful time with all the "girls". This was our 4th Women of Faith trip. It is so worth it. God works in so many ways.

Aiden is walking more and more. He is growing up so fast. He will be off running soon. I really enjoy watching him. I love watching him when music comes on. He is such a musical baby. He loves to dance to music. He has always been a musical baby. When he came home from the hospital, my sister would watch American Idol and he would sleep when someone could sing good but if someone came on who could not sing, he would cry until they stopped. He is really a good baby. He loves to eat and eat. Larry has been gone to Baton Rouge and will be getting back around 2 am. He misses his baby. He misses all of us but the baby just depends on us so much. Jeremy is finally having his 9th bday party this weekend. He is so excited. While the sun was shining, I wanted to leave work so I could come home and do spring cleaning. What a beautiful couple of days we have had lately.

Aiden took some steps.

Aiden took his first steps the other day. He was in the nursery with his YeYe. She told me he walked to his friend Annie. It has not happened since I have not seen him. Here is a picture of his last pictures that I took. He is so photogenic. He has such a great personality. I enjoy him so much. I enjoy Christian and Jeremy too. They just do their own thing. I am off today because of the stomach bug. I feel better. Larry is gone to youth retreat. I was suppose to go but then got sick. We had a powerful youth service Sunday night. It is wonderful seeing all these teenagers letting God in their life. Jeremy went to his plastic surgeon(sees every couple of years for his skin graft on his head.) Dr. Mickel had talked about removing his skin graft in the past. When we went yesterday, Dr. Mickel said he would not have another surgery. Jeremy was a little disappointed. He wants so bad to be normal like every other child. I remined him that God does not make mistakes and God made him the way he is for a special reason. I also reminded him that we all have something that we don't like about ourselves. It is so hard when your child hurts because people make fun of him. As a mother, we want to protect them from everything. Jeremy turns 9 on Monday. He is so excited.

Valentine's Day
What a great day to spend with the ones you love. We woke up and went to Jeremy's last basketball games. They won both games. They played very good. He was so excited. We celebrated by going to Chili's with Nonna. Christian and Aiden went back to Nonna's house. We went to Emilee's(our youth) soccer game. She was so excited to have us there. We had a Valentine Banquet at church. We had it catered from Pueblo Viejo, it was good. We watched Fireprood.
That is really good movie. Aiden got a monkey and the boys got money for Valentine. What a wonderful family. I love my husband and my three precious boys. It is never a dull moment with any of the them. BTW, Aiden is still not walking. I guess moma just gets to carry him.

Aiden is sick and using Boogie Wipes. Jeremy's team won 1 lost 1
Aiden is sick. He has been sick for a couple of days with stuffy nose and pretty bad cough, no fever. I have been giving him Accuhist PDX that Dr. Dyess gave to him last time he was sick. I hope this helps. He is so miserable. I also have some Boogie Wipes. Yes, thats the name. My family says I am obsessed with them. It is a wipe that has saline in it. It wipes his nose without it rubbing raw if nothing else. :)
Jeremy's basketball team won 1 and lost 1 today. That seems to be their pattern every week. They actually won a team that is very good. They have beat two of the best teams at least once. They are pretty good. Larry is the coach. Next week is the last games. I am so proud of Jeremy. For the most part, he gives it his all. :)
I am up tonight at 1am with sinuses myself. I took an Aleve Cold and Sinus and cant sleep. That ought to make an interesting day for tomorrow, Sunday at church. I am trying to make myself sleepy. :(

Today I am 32!
Today is my birthday. I am the big 32. I know 32 is still young, but sometimes it feels so old. I guess the 3 boys have aged me. My husband is a youth pastor so we are always around younger people. The youth have so much to learn. I remember being their age and not having much to care for except boys. Sometimes, I want to shake them and tell them not to make that mistake or go down that path. Anyway, I spent the day with my sister and my son. I got my hair colored and went red with some blonde highlights. I love it but it is different. We ate lunch with my mom.

Jeremy-basketball
I blogged about Aiden and Christian. So now this is about Jeremy. Jeremy is playing basketball this year at Seeker Springs. This is his second year. He loves to play basketball. He is good a free throws. He almost always gets the ball in the basket. We have a basketball goal at home and he loves to shoot hoops with his cousin Tyler. Tyler plays basketball in 8th grade at Calhoun Middle School. Jeremy really looks up to him. It is amazing how he just picked up the ball and almost instantly was good at making shots. His father is the coach and coincidently his sponsor is Liberty Grove, our church. They have won 2 games and have lost 2 games. I do have a prayer request in this. Jeremy has problems with his knee hurting him and when he is active he bothers him. He is too young for him to have knee problems. However, this will not keep him down. He loves basketball.
Christian Taylor Roy's Birthday
One week later from Aiden's first birthday party, my oldest son, Christian Taylor Roy, turned 11. This is an age that really scares me. He is so much closer to being a teenager. He is considered to be a preteen. It feels like yesterday, he was my only little baby-just being born, taking his first steps, talking, his First birthday. Wow, 11 years later. He is so small for his age that it doesn't make it seem real. Next year, he will be a Calhoun Middle School. He wants to grow his hair longer, but I think mom might win this one. His hair is way to thick for it to be long. I can't stand it. I am trying to let him learn his own idenity, but mom has to draw the line somewhere. If you have ever seen, Big Bang, on mondays on CBS, the guy named Sheldon is my son with a little of my husband. It is so close that I should be able to receive rights from the show. I think they are following us. How they grow up.!
Aiden Micah Roy's First Birthday
Aiden had his 1st birthday party at home on January 11, 2009 after church. He had 1 friend that was around his age (Drew is 3). Everyone else was older children or adults. His cake was of course jungle theme. His little cake was precious. His older brother, Jeremy, blew out the candle. Aiden picked at the cake because he did not want to get dirty (already OCD like his father). Once he realized his hands were dirty, he shook his hands to get the icing off of them. Then he decided since that was too messy that he would turn the cake upside down so he could just get the cake part and not the icing. He got a crazy coupe for his birthday. Right now, he falls out and underneath it. When I learn how to, I will put some pictures up. I am used to MySpace.

Aiden is 1!!!!!
Today is January 7, 2009. My baby boy is 1 today. I took off work today so I could spend the day with him. I woke him up singing "Happy Birthday" and our song, we always sing to him " You are my Sunshine". I cried 1st thing this morning, anybody who knows knows that I don't cry much. I called the Cross radio station to announce his birthday. He went to work with mommy for 15 minutes where everyone thought he was just beautiful and "juicy". I ordered his birthday cake for Sunday (it is, of course, a monkey cake, which also comes with his own personal cake. We went to Toys R Us and got his birthday present, Cozy Coute Car. We went to the mall. We came home and went to church. The church sang Happy Birthday to him. He could not believe all the people singing to him. I can not believe a year ago he was coming into this world as a tiny 6 pound baby. I was counting his toes and looking into his beautiful blue eyes. All I could do is hold him, love him, cuddle and kiss him. Nothing is changed except for now he is bigger and is on the move more. I posed the question to my husband and myself the other day, it was "Why were we not like this with the other two?" The answer was it was because we were so busy with two little ones and then Jeremy had so many problems that his first year, we held our breath wondering if he was going to be ok. And yes, now he is our str0ng willed child. I never would have dreamed that I would have 3 boys. They are each special to me in their own way. Christian is my sweet, very smart child. Jeremy is my strong willed child. Aiden has a little of each with his own personality if that makes sense. It is amazing how God chooses to bless us.
