Today I am 32!
Today is my birthday. I am the big 32. I know 32 is still young, but sometimes it feels so old. I guess the 3 boys have aged me. My husband is a youth pastor so we are always around younger people. The youth have so much to learn. I remember being their age and not having much to care for except boys. Sometimes, I want to shake them and tell them not to make that mistake or go down that path. Anyway, I spent the day with my sister and my son. I got my hair colored and went red with some blonde highlights. I love it but it is different. We ate lunch with my mom.

Jeremy-basketball
I blogged about Aiden and Christian. So now this is about Jeremy. Jeremy is playing basketball this year at Seeker Springs. This is his second year. He loves to play basketball. He is good a free throws. He almost always gets the ball in the basket. We have a basketball goal at home and he loves to shoot hoops with his cousin Tyler. Tyler plays basketball in 8th grade at Calhoun Middle School. Jeremy really looks up to him. It is amazing how he just picked up the ball and almost instantly was good at making shots. His father is the coach and coincidently his sponsor is Liberty Grove, our church. They have won 2 games and have lost 2 games. I do have a prayer request in this. Jeremy has problems with his knee hurting him and when he is active he bothers him. He is too young for him to have knee problems. However, this will not keep him down. He loves basketball.
Christian Taylor Roy's Birthday
One week later from Aiden's first birthday party, my oldest son, Christian Taylor Roy, turned 11. This is an age that really scares me. He is so much closer to being a teenager. He is considered to be a preteen. It feels like yesterday, he was my only little baby-just being born, taking his first steps, talking, his First birthday. Wow, 11 years later. He is so small for his age that it doesn't make it seem real. Next year, he will be a Calhoun Middle School. He wants to grow his hair longer, but I think mom might win this one. His hair is way to thick for it to be long. I can't stand it. I am trying to let him learn his own idenity, but mom has to draw the line somewhere. If you have ever seen, Big Bang, on mondays on CBS, the guy named Sheldon is my son with a little of my husband. It is so close that I should be able to receive rights from the show. I think they are following us. How they grow up.!
Aiden Micah Roy's First Birthday
Aiden had his 1st birthday party at home on January 11, 2009 after church. He had 1 friend that was around his age (Drew is 3). Everyone else was older children or adults. His cake was of course jungle theme. His little cake was precious. His older brother, Jeremy, blew out the candle. Aiden picked at the cake because he did not want to get dirty (already OCD like his father). Once he realized his hands were dirty, he shook his hands to get the icing off of them. Then he decided since that was too messy that he would turn the cake upside down so he could just get the cake part and not the icing. He got a crazy coupe for his birthday. Right now, he falls out and underneath it. When I learn how to, I will put some pictures up. I am used to MySpace.

Aiden is 1!!!!!
Today is January 7, 2009. My baby boy is 1 today. I took off work today so I could spend the day with him. I woke him up singing "Happy Birthday" and our song, we always sing to him " You are my Sunshine". I cried 1st thing this morning, anybody who knows knows that I don't cry much. I called the Cross radio station to announce his birthday. He went to work with mommy for 15 minutes where everyone thought he was just beautiful and "juicy". I ordered his birthday cake for Sunday (it is, of course, a monkey cake, which also comes with his own personal cake. We went to Toys R Us and got his birthday present, Cozy Coute Car. We went to the mall. We came home and went to church. The church sang Happy Birthday to him. He could not believe all the people singing to him. I can not believe a year ago he was coming into this world as a tiny 6 pound baby. I was counting his toes and looking into his beautiful blue eyes. All I could do is hold him, love him, cuddle and kiss him. Nothing is changed except for now he is bigger and is on the move more. I posed the question to my husband and myself the other day, it was "Why were we not like this with the other two?" The answer was it was because we were so busy with two little ones and then Jeremy had so many problems that his first year, we held our breath wondering if he was going to be ok. And yes, now he is our str0ng willed child. I never would have dreamed that I would have 3 boys. They are each special to me in their own way. Christian is my sweet, very smart child. Jeremy is my strong willed child. Aiden has a little of each with his own personality if that makes sense. It is amazing how God chooses to bless us.
